Our client is a global, multi-brand information business which provides critical data, price reporting, insight, analysis and must-attend events across a number of industry sectors. Their people are creative, action-oriented, close to customers, passionate about their brands, knowledgeable about the industries they serve and accountable for their results.
The division with which we are working comprises four global brands offering a variety of event, publishing and digital products. They are currently recruiting for a creative and technically savvy Marketing Director to move the division to the next level.
The marketing director will be ultimately responsible for the group’s marketing activities and develop and execute a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business. You’ll work with the product development and sales team to create and communicate a strategic road map for all products, ensuring that they meet customer expectations and continue to evolve in line with market changes.
With a team of 20, you’ll provide leadership to all marketing-related functions, creating a culture of success, growth and continuous improvement.
We’re looking for a proven track record of success in senior marketing roles, preferably in B2B events or in a business with a similar commercial model. It is likely that a successful candidate will have around 10 years’ experience, with specific experience in digital and content marketing.
You will need to have experience in managing a large and diverse team and in interfacing with a number of different stakeholders across a business. You’ll be a creative, dynamic leader who works at pace and can lead the team to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Familiarity with marketing automation technology, particularly Marketo, would be an advantage, as would knowledge of SalesForce.
Remuneration, bonuses and benefits will be commensurate with a role at this level of seniority – you will be joining the businesses’ senior leadership team.
