About the role

They are currently looking for a Head of Conference/Content Production to lead their large-scale event content and help create an impactful industry platform with a global presence.

This is a team management role, tasked with developing a clear vision of how content creates value and impacts all elements of the events, both through conference-style sessions and content on the exhibition floor. You’ll manage, train and guide a team of Senior Conference Producers and will develop a high-level understanding of the market, working with the leadership team to develop new content and event ideas, new markets, and products that deliver additional revenue.

Although the client has a London office, you will have the flexibility to work from home should you wish to do so. As such, some experience of managing a remote team may be useful.

About you

We’re looking for a minimum of five to seven years’ experience of international conference/content production and you will likely already be in a team management position. Some of this experience will likely have been in developing content for the confex event model (content for exhibition visitors).

You’ll be able to work autonomously without depending on direct supervision – and will have bags of confidence and a ‘get things done’ attitude.

You must be free to travel internationally from time to time.

The position attracts a very competitive based salary, profit share, and a bonus based on overall company performance.
