An opportunity has arisen for a highly creative Head of Digital Marketing to join our client’s marketing team. This role would suit a highly strategic digital native who is passionate about innovation, mastering new technology and driving digital campaigns to create seamless customer journeys and experiences.
The Head of Digital Marketing will play a key role in shaping the company’s digital strategy. You will line manage a Data Analyst to implement a culture of data-driven insights through marketing technology, analysis, optimization and consistent reporting – and will also oversee the marketing team and overall marketing strategy for the business.
You’ll be a digital marketing specialist with at least 5 years’ experience in a similar strategic position. Ideally this would be within digital publishing and/or in a subscriptions model environment.
You’ll need an excellent knowledge of marketing automation technology and will come with a solid understanding of the digital media landscape and best practice knowledge across the whole range of digital marketing channels, data management, customer segmentation, performance metrics and benchmarking.
You’ll also be an excellent communicator, able to translate complex data and technology in a simple way to a wide range of stakeholders.
You will be able to take complete ownership of both the role and the strategy you develop and will be joining a highly motivated and passionate team, working in a fascinating geographical market in which your products and services really do make a difference!
