They are currently scaling the business and have a unique market position, a strong product value proposition, and a high repeat business rate. They are now strengthening their sales function to support their business growth ambitions.

About the role

We’re searching for a highly skilled, enthusiastic, and energetic Head of Sales to work with 4-6 sales executives and managers. This individual will have a proven track record in exceeding sales targets both as an individual and through their teams, across the delegate and spex channels. You will be comfortable defining new processes, training new sales teams, and performance managing closely to embed new ways of working that deliver consistent results.

About you

We’re looking for around 7-8 years’ experience in conference sales ideally across sponsorship, exhibition and delegate sales channels.

Some team management experience will be required; we’re looking for inspirational leadership and the ability to demonstrate to your team what ‘good’ looks like; we anticipate circa 30% of your time will be spent in front-line sales.

You’ll be an exceptional communicator with an ability to bring about rapid change and improvements in the behaviours of both yourself and others. You’ll be resilient and will thrive in a high pressure, deadline-driven environment.

In return, you’ll receive an excellent base salary and the opportunity to earn into six figures with commission.
